Blood Orange - FLV Flavour Notes

Blood Orange

Tested @ 1%, diluted in 70/30 0Nic

Tested on a R200 Bonza dual coil 0.14ohm Flapton @ 100w

Manufacturer’s description – “Like the small canned mandarin oranges that come in light syrup. This is a sweet candied orange without the nasal high notes of a lemonade or blasting power of our orange citrus.”

SnV

Sweet Orange with a slight flesh hint and some juiciness.

14 day steep

No change. This is a sweet Orange, with some flesh hints and juice, to me this tastes more like a mandarin with the sweetness of a tinned mandarin in its own slightly sweetened juice.

Suggested usage

I’d use as a main 1%-1.5%, background 0.5%-1%, Accent 0.25%-0.5%. Standalone 1.5%-2%.

I’d use with Fruits, Creams, Bakery, Beverages, some nuts and alcohols.

Summary

This is almost more like a sweet mandarin Orange than a blood Orange, not quite a fresh Orange the sweetness is almost at a candy level but not quite sweet enough, this is reminiscent of tinned mandarin pieces in a slightly sweetened juice.

I would use this wherever I wanted a sweet Orange flavour and believe this would work well with other Oranges to create a fresh Orange Juice type vape.
