Chefs Flavours description – “Toffee and Caramel! What could be better than this concoction?!”
SnV
Light sweet caramel followed by a darker sweetness that may be a toffee
7 day steep
No change
14 day steep
No change
28 day steep
The darker sweet taste after the Caramel has now become a definite toffee but this is much lighter than the Caramel taste. This has a slightly syrup like mouthfeel and is of a medium sweetness no off notes.
Suggested usage
I’d use this as an Accent 3%-5%, Background 5%-7%, and Main 7%-10%. Standalone 10%-15%
This would be useful as an accent to layer with other Caramels to add some depth to them.
This is quite a light concentrate at 5% so may get overwhelmed by some medium-high strength concentrates so will require a high % to be able to taste this.
I’d use with Cream, Ice Cream, Caramel, Coffee, Bakery and fruit, may also work with lighter Tobaccos.
