Weather Disruption - Storm Eunice Delays
Due to weather disruption from Storm Eunice it is likely orders both within the UK and travelling internationally may face delays.
Please find below the advice from Royal Mail regarding Storm Eunice -
"Storm Eunice arrived this morning, Friday 18 February, bringing extremely high winds which have affected air, rail and road transportation across the UK. The Met Office has issued a red weather warning for South Wales and the South West of England between 7am and 12 pm, and a further warning for London and South East England from 10am to 3pm today. A red weather warning indicates a risk of danger to life.
The impact of Storm Eunice is expected to cause severe disruption to mail delivery, collection and distribution across the country. Services in the areas impacted by the red warning will be suspended today with delivery offices closed to protect our people and customers. Severe weather risk assessments will be carried for Amber areas based on local knowledge. Whilst we will do all we can to keep our services operating as normally as possible in areas where it’s safe to do so, the safety of our people is paramount and services will be reviewed throughout the day."
As we are within a red warning and will not receive collections we have decided to close today, Friday 18th of February. All orders received today will be processed first thing Monday morning.
As all methods of transportation are likely to be affected, delays to mail travelling both within and outside the UK are possible.
Should we receive further updates from our couriers we will continue to update our customers as soon as possible.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us and we'll do all we can to help.
