Black Cherry - FLV Flavour Notes

Black Cherry

Tested @ 1%, diluted in 70/30 0Nic

Tested on a R200 Bonza dual coil 0.14ohm Flapton @ 100w

Manufacturer’s description – “Familiar cherry notes mix well with other flavors or stand alone. Good for use in cherry tobacco recipes. This is not the medicinal black cherry flavor of cough suppressant. This black cherry is like the cherry sauce in an ice cream Sunday or the black cherry in dark chocolate. Free of Benzaldehyde.”

SnV

A sweet black cherry with a plastic like off note

7 day steep

The plastic like off note has now reduced although it is still present, the rest of the profile remains unchanged.

14 day steep

No change

21 day steep

The plastic off note has reduced a little further but otherwise no change to the general profile

27 day steep

The plastic like off note has now steeped out to leave a sweet black cherry with some tartness at the end of the vape.

Suggested usage

I’d use as a main 0.75%-1%, Background 0.5%-0.75%, Accent 0.1%-0.5%.

I’d use with Fruit, Cream, Bakery, Beverages, Chocolate, Alcohols and some Florals.

Summary

I believe that 1% is nearing the highest % for this flavour before the off note becomes too much too steep out. At 1% after a steep this is a decent black cherry that starts off sweet with a little juiciness and then becomes tart at the end, I found this to be fairly realistic, but you need to be patient and allow this to steep.

Flavorah recommended usage - 0.5%-2%
