Lychee - FA Flavour Notes

Lychee

Tested @1%, Diluted in 70/30 0 Nicotine

Tested on a VV Pulse and a RX200s @ 130w with a Bonza 0.14 ohm dual coil Flaptons.

Manufacturers description – “Sweet and floral. You’ll love it”

1 Day steep

Very strong floral taste oddly reminiscent of a Turkish delight even though Turkish delight is made with Rose. There is a hint of a sweet and juicy Lychee under those floral notes.

8 day steep

No change

22 Day steep

The floral notes have mainly steeped out although there are some remaining as a background note, but this is expected as Lychee’s are slightly floral.

The main top notes are of a sweet and juicy Lychee with a slight syrupy quality, at the very end of the Vape I experienced a very slight caramel like taste.

Overall this is a decent representation of a Lychee but more of the canned variety than a fresh lychee.

Suggested Usage

I’d use an accent at 0.25%-0.5%, a background flavour at 0.5%-1%, a main note at 1%-2%.

Standalone 2%-4%

Expect some very heavy florals at the initial mix however this should calm down after a steep.

This would work well with fruits especially tropical fruits, Creams, ice creams, Soda Style concentrates, may also work with syrups, caramels and honeys. If pairing with florals like Jasmine or Honeysuckle keep them low so as not to exaggerate the already floral nature of this concentrate.
