Pistachio
Tested @1% & 2%, Diluted in 70/30 0 Nicotine
Tested on a RX200s with a Bonza 0.14 ohm dual coil Flaptons @ 130w.
Manufacturers description “Enjoy the new formulation of Pistacchio, pure nuttiness! It has been reformulated to be DAP free (Diacetyl Acetytl Propionyl)”
SnV
2%:- A strong roasted generic nut flavour
1%:- The same as 2%
7 Day steep
2%:- This is more like a dry roasted Pistachio flavour, I get a strong roasted taste with a slight taste of Pistachio on the end of the vape.
1%:- Still a strong generic roasted nut.
14 Day steep
2%:- No change, this is still very unbalanced, that roasted flavour almost overwhelms the Pistachio, this is the point I diluted this flavour to 1%
1%:- No Change
20 Day Steep
1%:- No change at this % all I can taste is that strong roasted flavour with a generic nut taste, it tastes like the dusting left at the bottom of a bag of dry roasted nuts.
Suggested Usage
I’d use this as a main note at 0.75%-1%, Background 0.5%-0.75%, Accent at 0.25%-0.5%. If you don’t get that overwhelming roasted taste use at 1%-2% Standalone
I’d use this as an accent flavour to impart a roasted flavour to other nuts, may be useful to add a roasted taste at a low % to coffees and Tobacco.
