Manufacturer’s description – “If you’re looking to create your next flavourful e-liquid concoction with an authentic sourness, then you might want to consider this plum. A plum with a tart astringent sourness which turns sweet on the palate as you would find eating a real black amber plum that gives your tongue a citrus like tingle. The skin of the plum is pronounced in this concentrate making it unique when compared to many other plums. This flavour will benefit most when used in conjunction with its perfect pair combinations such as Cherry, Cranberry, Fig, Kumquat, Lemon, Nectarine, Orange, Peach, Raspberry, Rhubarb and Strawberry. We class this as being a mixer, however you may also enjoy it in a single profile mix.”

This has some juiciness to it but to me tastes a lot like grape incl. the usual off note I experience
7 day steep
No change
14 day steep
The ‘off note’ has now reduced, this now tastes like the dark skin of a plum with a grape like hint, this has a little plum juiciness to it and is slightly tart at the end
21 day steep

26 day steep

Suggested usage
I’d use this as a main 1.5%-2.5%, background/Accent 0.25%-1.5%.
I’d use this with Fruits especially grapes, Bakery, Tobacco, Alcohols, Vanilla and possibly Creams.
Summary
To me this tastes more like a dark grape with some plum like flesh and juice. This may be useful to accent grapes. This is a darker tasting concentrate than VTA Blood Plum
VTA recommended usage -Mixed: 3-5% – Standalone: 6-9%
