Caramel Popcorn & Peanuts (SC)

*This flavour was provided by Chefs Flavours

Tested @2%, Diluted in 70/30 0 Nicotine

Tested on a R200 with a Bonza 0.14-ohm dual coil Flaptons.

Manufacturers Description “Popcorn with a rich caramel flavour that coats the palate nicely, you will also note the distinct slightly salty goodness of peanuts. You will enjoy this combination of flavours as the hint of peanut cuts the sweet richness of the caramel smoothly.”

SnV

This has a honey taste to it like in WF Honey roast peanuts, there is a slight caramel in the background but no popcorn or peanuts yet

7 Day Steep

No change

24 Day Steep

The peanut has now developed, this tastes like a raw peanut and imparts a slight fragmented mouthfeel, the caramel has also picked up although it still has a very slight honey like note to it, there is a light popcorn like taste in the background

31 Day Steep

The caramel has now fully developed although the honey like floral note remains although now vastly reduced from a SnV to become more of an accent flavour

Suggested Usage

I’d use this 0.5%-1% as an accent, 1%-2% as a background flavour, 2%-3% as the main flavour

If you wanted this stand-alone, I’d suggest 3%-5%

I’d use with Cream, Bakery, Caramel, Toffee, Nuts, Custard, RY4 and other tobaccos, Custard and Popcorn

Summary

This is heavier on the peanut than the popcorn, this needs a steep for the flavours to develop fully, to me the Caramel is slightly honey like including a light floral, fully steeped the honey note does reduce in strength to a point where it should get covered in a mix, the popcorn whilst present in the background is light and would need another popcorn flavour to enhance this. This has a full mouthfeel and is slightly fragmented like a mouthful of chewed peanuts.

Wonder Flavours Recommended usage: - 1%-4%
