Chefs Flavours description – “Sweet and sticky liquid gold!”
SnV
Thin and sweet with a light dark sweetness
7 day steep
No change
14 day steep
Heavy ammonia like smell but a light taste, this doesn’t quite taste like a golden syrup to me, it tastes more like a sweet Honey x Caramel flavour.
28 day steep
No change
Suggested usage
I’d use this as an Accent 2%-3%, Background 3%-5%, and Main 5%-7%. Standalone 7%-10%
I believe this would work better as an accent or background flavour, as an accent it would be good to get a lighter dark sweetness in a mix without using a caramel or brown sugar, as a background it would give you some of the taste of a syrup without that ammonia/honey note, this will also add a syrupy mouth feel to fruits and sweeten up coffees.
I’d use with Cream, Butterscotch, Toffee, Custard, Bakery, Fruit, Coffee and may work with tobacco
Chefs Flavours recommended usage - Mix between 10%-20% and allow to steep.
