Chefs Flavours description – “Everyone loves this!!”
SnV
Strawberry Jam with a slight sponge cake like flavour in the background
7 day steep
The cake like taste has now increased but has developed an almost biscuit like taste and texture, the strawberry Jam has faded slightly
14 day steep
The cake note is dense but not quite a suet pudding it still has too much of a biscuit like taste to it, the strawberry jam has faded into the background
21 day steep
No change
28 day steep
The cake note has now increased and has become denser like a suet pudding, the Jam is there but more of a background note and leaves a sticky mouthfeel
Suggested usage
I’d use this as a main flavour 7%-10%, Background 5%-7%, Standalone 10%-15%
I’d use this with Custard, Bakery, Biscuit and possibly chocolate
Summary
This is like a traditional Jam Roly Poly with suet pudding not a sponge cake, it has a decent red berry jam possibly a mix of strawberry and raspberry.
Chefs Flavours recommended usage - Mix between 10%-20% and allow to steep
